Rendering Encouragement in Academic Commitment for Higher Education [9am - 12pm on Saturdays]: was founded to motivate the students of Canoga Park High School to attend college by establishing a mentor-mentee relationship with them. This is a great opportunity for you to mentor a high school student on not only how to succeed in their high school courses (geometry, algebra, calculus, physics, history, english), but also to give them insight on the college experience from your own perspective! In addition to tutoring in the classroom setting, REACHE is committed to building relationships through activities such as kayaking trips and city exploration. Though your weekly mentor relationship with the students is most preferred, all are welcome at all REACHE sessions. So drop by one week and try it out, or come every other Saturday if that works for you. Please don’t hesitate to participate! Transportation will be provided weekly.
